    Hero Ingredients

    Bilberry - Can improve visual acuity by helping eyes adjust to light changes. May reduce bleeding and scarring of the retina that is common in diabetes. Contains active ‘Anthocyanosides’ which help strengthen eye capillaries.

    Grape Seed - Antioxidant properties protect against free radical damage implicated in cellular deterioration. OPCs from Grape seeds strengthen the capillaries that supply the retina – thus useful in retinopathy. Also, by increasing the strength of capillaries it can thereby be used to help prevent bloodshot eyes.

    Ginkgo - Increases circulation and also has antioxidant properties; these two actions aid in prevention and treatment of glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration. By increasing blood flow to optic nerve Ginkgo may aid sight for people with retinopathy and improve vision in general.

    Lutein - Potent antioxidant. May help prevent glaucoma; low levels of lutein are associated with glaucoma. Within the eye they help filter out damaging ultra-violet light. May protect against age- related macular degeneration and cataract formation.

    Vitamin C - Excess sunlight exposure can cause cataracts; this can be exacerbated by Vitamin C deficiency. May play a role in delaying age-related macular degeneration.

    Vitamin E - May protect the eyes from oxidative damage including cataracts - the retina of the eye is more prone to degeneration when vitamin E is deficient.

    Selenium - May help prevent cataracts – the lenses of people with cataracts have only 15% of the amount of selenium contained in healthy lenses. Potent antioxidant.

    Zinc - Night blindness may occur because of a zinc deficiency.

    Beta carotene - May help to prevent cataracts and aids optimal eye health.

    Copper - May help in the prevention of cataracts.

    Chromium - May help prevent glaucoma, supports healthy blood sugar regulation – unmanaged blood sugar levels can contribute to long term eye damage.

    Cautions

    Cautions:

    Due to combination of Bilberry, Ginkgo and Vitamin E, caution is advised in patients taking anticoagulant medication.

    How to use

    Adults: Take 1 capsule daily or as professionally prescribed.
