    Hero Ingredients

    Astragalus: Helps build up a depleted immune system. Stimulates immune cell activity by enhancing the virus killing, natural killer cells. It can enhance the production of antibodies and the anti-viral substance interferon.

    Beta Glucan: This is an extract from the cell wall of yeast; it activates the immune system to increase the antimicrobial action of our immune cells. Unlike other yeast this kind of yeast will help fight against yeast or fungal conditions like Candida.

    Olive Leaf: Credited with providing olive trees with their exceptional resistance to insect and bacterial damage. It can interfere with microbial replication, and has antibacterial, anti-viral and antifungal properties.

    Zinc: This is essential for general immune health as it activates many immune cells. It can inhibit viral replication and to reduce the proliferation of viral infections. It assists the body’s fight against all microbial infections.

    Vitamin D3: Enhances immunity – against viruses & bacterial infections. Levels of vitamin D are lower in the winter and often lower in people with poor immunity.

    Herbal extract equivalent to dry:

    Olea europaea (Olive) [leaf, 18:1 extract providing 4500mg dry herb equivalent]: 250 mg

    [providing active Oleuropein 100mg]: 100mg

    Astragalus membranaceus (Astragalus) [root, 10:1 extract providing 200mg dry herb equivalent]: 20mg

    Other ingredients:

    Saccharomyces cerevisiae (providing Beta Glucans): 100mg

    Zinc Gluconate (providing 1mg Zinc): 7.8mg

    Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol 6.25mcg): 250IU

    No added gluten, egg, dairy, yeast, soy, wheat, artificial flavours, sweeteners, colours, or preservatives.

    Cautions

    Cautions:

    Not suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

    Although rare, a “die off” effect may set in within four days from the first usage of Olive Leaf Extract.

    Flu-like symptoms can occur before user feels a sense of well-being and the usual surge of energy.

    The “die off effect”, or Herxheimer Reaction as it is medically called, refers to symptoms generated by a detoxification process. Drink plenty of water and rest as much as possible. Decrease dose if necessary.

    Suitable for vegetarians but not vegans (Cholecalciferol source from sheep’s lanolin).

    How to use

    Maintenance dose:

    Adults: Take 2 capsules daily with food.

    Children: 6-12 years: Take 1 capsule daily with food.

    Acute dose:

    Adults: Take 2 caps 2 x daily with food.

    Children: 6-12 years: Take 1 capsule 2 x daily.
